I like Etsy.com. I’ve sold things on Etsy and when my wife was unemployed, their easy-to-use shop saved our married asses. Still, because it is on the Internet, Etsy has some, uh… “Unique” items for purchase among the hand-made screen printing and extreme crafting.

“Beardies” seem to fit the bill quite nicely…

Described as “Perfect for wearing on purses, bags, sweaters, jackets, coats, backpacks, diaper bags, messengers, and anything else you want to stick him to.”, The Beardies also come with this application word of warning: “(CAUTION: Skin not recommended)”.

At first, these tiny rainbow Grizzly Adams creeped me out. Until, however, I realized they resembled shrunken hipster heads, immediately sending my mind into a comforting scene of a bunch of snarky 25 year-olds on the L train loosing their heads to the witch doctor from Beetlejuice.

So I bought ten.
