Mr. Olbermann abruptly left his MSNBC show on Friday. While we know he’ll get a new show somewhere soon, we also have a feeling he’s probably one of those people who needs to keep busy. So we figured we’d come up with some ideas for jobs for him while he sorts out his next media project.
First up, Kindergarten teacher! While this may sound random, we at Drink At Work think Olbo has the experience to ace this gig. He has a sense of humor, he’s smart, and he has a history of dealing with petulant crybabies, bullies and fibbers… a.k.a. any typical kindergarten class. Although his version of Storytime might go over the tots’ heads. We still think it’s a good fit.
Just a suggestion, Keith… we’ll keep them coming. Oh, and you’re welcome!

Jesse James and Kat Von D are engaged. That’s boring because, well, it’s not interesting, but also because it just already happened, so everyone has reported on it. Big deal! We here at Drink At Work are only concerned with news stories that WILL happen. So, thanks to some secret technology that is definitely NOT from aliens (which don’t even exist!) we bring you the first photo of Lugwrench Von D-James, adorable futurebaby and first child of the soon-to-be-recently-divorced tattooed twosome!
Congratulations will eventually be in order, as will condolences on the implosion of their 5-month marriage.
This week for NPK I was lucky enough to pry fellow Wake Up Worlder and one of the stars of FAIRLY LEGAL, Baron Vaughn, away from his Oreos (he goes through a box a day at this point) just long enough to perform a scene with me from my very own spec script of Fairly Legal while on Skype. The episode is entitled “A Pelican Wears Briefs” and I’m pretty sure there’s already talk of a WGA award for it.
Anyway, I wrote in a new character (to be played by me when the producers finally wise up and buy the episode), Judge Lawyer is his/my name. Yes, of course he’s a raconteur!
