Sort of takes the magic out of killing for sport, doesn’t it? Sad.

If you’re in the northeast of the US this week, you’re probably aware of the -570 degrees temperature, give or take a few hundred degrees. And naturally, you’ll be forced to cut open a fair number of Taun Taun’s to huddle inside their beast guts to keep warm as you go about your day. Well, once you’ve used up their intestinal warmth, don’t just throw away all that perfectly good meat! Turn that “life saver” into a “savory” dish! Here is one great recipe idea to get you started in your kitchen–or one of the many barrel fires we’ll all be lighting to keep alive between Taun Taun slaughterings.

As members of the Academy in good standing, we not only get to vote on Oscar nominations, once the votes are tallied we also receive early notification. And while we’re technically breaking the law here by sharing those nominations ahead of schedule, we don’t believe in jail and therefore can not be forced to go there. Simple math.

We’ll be sharing the noms all week but we wanted to kick things off with our personal favorite and one of the nominees for Best Picture, the in-your-face comedy HOTEL RWANDA FOR DOGS. Comedies are usually overlooked by the Academy and almost never get a Best Pic nod. So this is a real game changer here. Maybe now, comedies won’t be “in the dog house.” GET IT? HAHA LOL ROFLMAO right? HAR HAR. Anyway, here’s the poster which is totally real.
