This week, on BROTHERS DEL TORO

It’s no secret that Drink at Work’s Corey “FRS” Pandolph looks a little too much like veteran actor Benecio Del Toro. In fact, the fine folks at NBC have picked up on the phenomenon, awarding Corey and Benecio their own one hour drama. With Benecio playing himself, Corey has been cast to play his rebel – and some say better looking – younger brother, Gary.

Here’s what’s happening this week on BROTHERS DEL TORO (Catch it on it’s new night, Saturdays, 3:30am EST):

O’Donnell Has Trouble Naming the Animals on a Farm

Christine O’Donnell was at a loss during last night’s debate when asked to name any of the animals that one would find on a farm. She gave two animals at first —but neither is regularly found on a farm, the velociraptor and the walrus. O’Donnell defended the picks by noting that she had visited a private gated farm community in Costa Rica over a decade ago and that that farm had had velociraptors. When the moderator pointed out that she was referring to the Jurassic Park film series, O’Donnell then pointed out that movies don’t exist and that even if they did she’s never heard of them.

Later during the debate, O’Donnell also had trouble identifying basic shapes–she described a square as “the boxy one that, umm, I admire most”–as well as the three primary colors, which she emphatically defended as being “orangutan, eyes, and crayola.”

These Ikea Instructions Are Too Damn Complicated Party

If this week’s New York gubernatorial debate was your first introduction to Jimmy McMillan and his Rent is Too Damn High Party, then I hate to tell you, but you’re, sort of, you know, late to the party.

Prior to his governor’s bid, McMillan ran for Mayor of New York twice, in 2005 and 2009. We’ve been fans of his ever since we read his statement of issues as a mayoral candidate, which included the phrase, “Rent is too damn high!!!” no less than 12 times in two paragraphs. That’s what Washington insiders call, “staying on message.” (Not sure what a Washington insider is? That’s easy. It’s someone who works in Washington D.C. who has their head so far up their own ass, they can smell the future.)

More after the jump.
