Pluses for abandoning:

None of us can breath under water.

I personally hate squid and lobsters, the boogers and spiders of the ocean respectively.

The extra oil in the water will increase our buoyancy and make it easier to stay afloat.

Minuses for abondoning:

The ship is nice and warm on the inside. Maybe if we seal the cabins with a caulking gun we can create an air pocket and live forever under the sea, creating our own small but thriving civilization. Although after two generations of inbreeding we’d all be retarded.

Sharks are hungry.

Abondonment is a form of abuse. We’d have to think very carefully about whether or not we were abusing this ship by leaving it to sink.
