Hello, readers. My name is Anthony DeVito and I’m from Brooklyn, New York. I’ve recently been informed that I’m the newest contributor to the Drink At Work humor website. When the girl, the guy and the one who loves whiskey first asked me if I would join their little comedy pile, my first reaction was surprise, immediately followed by suspicion. What’s their angle? People don’t just ask you to write comedy without some f’d-up ulterior motive. And just because I’m a nice guy with a lot of talent doesn’t mean I’m going to just sit here and let Carol Hartsell throw a sack over my head and whip my bare legs with a car antenna.

But lately I’ve been trying to think positive. I bought some tapes about trying to think positive that I listen to as I bathe. So instead of telling them all where to go, I said yes to their offer. And here I am. I promise to do my best to write things that will make you chuckle and give you a couple minutes break from the non-stop droning of that asshole Michelle in the next cubicle. (FYI, it’s okay to wish her dead. You don’t have the kind of power to really make something like that happen. Get over yourself.)

In closing, the people on HGTV’s House Hunters are always really ugly.
