We at Drink at Work will not be partaking in the Twitter/Facebook/NY Post/Perez frenzy that has cropped up over a certain recent celebrity news event. We pride ourselves on original humor, toiled over and written, originally, by our overworked brains.

Others will tell you they are about original comedy, yet turn around and take the low road by poking fun at the latest story developments, via some snarky comment, rehashed from 10 blogs ago.

That’s not Drink at Work and that is not what we stand for. People in the headlines are human beings, with human emotions and human shortcomings. It is the small man who kicks a good man when he is down. It is the lazy writer who resorts to cliches and toilet humor at the expense of the privileged for the laugh.

We at Drink at Work support Brett Favre’s decision to come back and play for the Vikings.
