At the Ridgeway Diner on 6th Avenue, two elderly ladies who were paying their bill as I waited for my lentil soup:

Elderly Lady 1 [annoyed]: Are you a Buddhist, too?

Elderly Lady 2 [outraged]: No! I was raised Episcopalian.
