The Drink at Work Show is TONIGHT!Yay! Yay! Yaaaaaaay!!!

Some of you may know that last week Drink at Work.com was ranked #4 in the list of Top 40 Blogs By and For Comedians, just behind Gothamist, Best Week Ever and Margaret Cho. You may also know that 15 minutes later we dropped all the way down to #5 when the person who compiled the list added Gawker. So, what did we learn from our brief yet breathtaking roller coaster ride from obscurity to the heights of Internet stardom to making ends meet with the occasional odd job in construction and solicitation?

For starters, make the most of your tenuous grasp on fame, because this may be your only chance to have a sex life uninterrupted by self-doubt or several years. Second, a life lived solely in the pursuit of fame is a hollow one to say the least. But a life spent grappling with loss of said fame is an emotional, mental and spiritual holocaust at best. And finally, no matter how bad it gets, remember you can't give up and the show must always go on. Literally, in our case.
