August 7, 2006: The Drink at Work Show at Ace of Clubs
Oh, the things we forget to remember. I took some photos last week up
at the Mohonk Mountain Retreat in New Paltz, NY. It was bright out so
I set the 20D to an ISO speed of 100. Unfortunately, when I handed it
over to Maryanne for the show last night, I hadn't adjusted it back and
I forgot to tell her. We normally shoot these shows at 3200 ISO, so we
ended up with a lot of blurry photos. So my apologies to any comics who
were hoping for some good performance shots. We are, alas, imperfect.
However, we did get some cool shots of people dancing to Lonesome Jack,
such as this:

That wouldn't look half as cool if it were crisp. So for what it's worth
here's the entire archive from last night. I'll make sure to have the
settings right next time. Thanks (and sorry), Maryanne!
