June 5, 2006: The Drink at Work Show

Our final show at Siberia...all photos by Maryanne. This was a technically difficult
show for many reasons, but by the end of it, not only had everyone done a great
set but we also enjoyed surprise sets from Todd Levin and Tom Shillue. It doesn't
really get much better than that.

Rob Paravonian: a great comic and a lovely guy to boot. Plus, he has one of the best
comedy sites you're likely to find. Check out his videos at Life as a Comic.

Francesco Marciuliano: he read his Pat Robertson quotes...hilarious. This was only the
second time he's performed on stage and he did a fantastic job.

Bryan Olsen: he is such a smart writer and a brilliant performer. This southern lawyer character kills me.

Todd Levin: He saved our asses. Two acts were running late and we needed more time. Todd jumped up and killed for five minutes. He'll be back on the show soon. Love, love, love him.

Mike Birbiglia: I like the way Birbiglia wanders around — and occasionally off — stage.
He's in town for the summer so you'll have a chance to see him a lot most likely.

Tom Shillue: my favorite comic...and also one of the nicest guys you will ever meet.
He also helped us out by doing a short, impromptu set.

Brandy and Sara: these women are insane. And hot. And freakin funny as hell. And hot.

Sean Crespo: Maryanne and I helped Sean out with his submarine bit and it went very well.
He's really come into his own in the last few months and he writes like crazy so he never
does the same set twice. Seriously, book him on your show...or there will be hells to pay.

Gabe McKinley: he is a damn genius. He did two characters on the show: 9/11 man and
NYTimes crossword editor Will Shortz.

Balthrop, Alabama: a great band...so much fun. They wrapped the night up beautifully.
