Now, now: we all love to slam on Karl Rove, but I don't think it's fair to say that he's dumb. He's more of an evil sinister genius. He probably tries to come up with answers in Latin that still work with the clues just to keep his mind limber. And then he eats a baby.

We're not saying he's dumb. We're saying he's out of touch with human culture, having been born thanks to a coven's pact with a struggling actor and an unsuspecting Mia Farrow in the Dakota apartment building.
That, plus he must be concentrating on something else besides his job since the administration is quickly going down the toilet.
My favorite stolen joke: W.'s on Air Force One, sweating over the crossword puzzle on the Des Moines Register's kids' page. He turns to Dick Cheney, and asks, "What's a four-letter word for 'female' ending in '-unt'?" Cheney promptly says, "Aunt." W. sits there stunned for a moment, then asks, "Do you have an eraser?"
Dodging subpoenaa can really take a toll on your office productivity. He hasn't had time to ruin the lives of anyone with slander and innuendo in months.
