Hardhat Area

Hang on kids, shit's gonna be whack around here for a while. I decided to go ahead and upload the new nav bar since troubleshooting that thing is going to be a bitch. It will also be a little while before all the pages on the site are updated with the new header/navigation.

The good news is, even though a lot of those links up top go to construction pages at the moment, all that stuff is going to happen. Podcasts. Yes. Forum. Yes. Media Kit. You know it. So be patient with us and we will rock your ass soon enough.

And finally, what the hell is that thing up top? No, it couldn't be. Say it ain't so. It's not a goddamn ad! Yes. Yes it is. Drink at Work is selling out and frankly, we're shocked you ever expected any more of us.

Peace, ladies.

Sell out! (That's an imperative, not an accusation.)

Debugging note:
Mousing over the characters at the top using Firefox 1.07 causes them to DISAPPEAR!!

Clarification - they DON'T DISAPPEAR from your index page. They do disppear from the "hardhat-area.html" page that gets served from your XML feed. You might have different versions of the navbar?

Further debugging note: On IE in Windows, the lefthand column doesn't start until after the blog entries stop (i.e. not until all the way at the bottom of the page)

thanks, this is a huge help as I have access to only three computers, all of which are wide sceen macs running either safari or mozilla.

i'm going to be tinkering with this for a while, so I appreciate the patience and notes. keep 'em coming.

by the way, i think the problem with the disappearing rollovers has to do with needing to insert the full "img src" info in a few more places.

Here's another problem. The google search form in the left hand column is extrending over and on top of, the content. I am currently using Firefox 1.0.1 (Debian Linux), but will check with more recent versions on Windows tonight.
