As a New Englander currently living in North Carolina, I have only this to say:
Way to under-exaggerate.
In the heart of The Old North State this comes a little too close to home, as the real Yahoo news headline last year illustrates: "One inch of snow paralyzes NC capital." Seriously.
The postscript: Despite the chaos, the destruction is nowhere near that caused by the Southern California light drizzle of '02.
I once helped a fella dig his Geo Storm out of a ditch, while driving to the bar, one snowy Saturday in Greensboro, NC...
The guy was poking at the snow under his wheelwell with the wrong end of a plastic broom.
I so wanted to stay in the jeep and point and laugh, but my wife made me pull over and help.
Owa Goona? Owa Goona!
