Relatives are so much easier to enjoy from afar.
Thanksgiving is at MY God-damned house this year. We eat on our schedule, I dictate that the Emergency Backup Vodka is used in the bloody marys, there is NO horrid country "music" playing, and my turkey was awesome. Best of all, the guests were gone by mid-evening...
Stacey and I skipped town for a quiet weekend in Memphis. So no worries for us.
