They already did The Lyon's Den, and Lancelot Link, US Senator would be nearly indistinguishable from C-SPAN.
"The Lyon's Den?" How quickly we forget "Mr. Smith" (well, 22 years seems quick to me!). But he was an orangutan, not a monkey, and he wasn't an elected official, just an advisor. Who says there aren't any new ideas in Hollywood?
