Christian Finnegan is Hot!
Well, we all are. But Christian especially. The following excerpt is from his "Tower of Hubris" blog:"Did you ever notice how short the interval is between 'Boy, I can't wait for Summer!' and 'Fuck THIS shit.'? In New York, I think that 'Hooray for warm weather' period lasted about five days this year. Now it's all just a sweaty malaise. I don't know what the weather has been like where YOU live, but here in New York City, it's been like a marathon runner's nutsack for at least two weeks. The heat makes me loathe every thing and every one. And yet I'm too exhausted to actually do or say anything about it. So I just sit around all day in a near-vegetative state, occasionally showing my faint disgust for people, places and things by rolling my eyes—like Terri Schiavo with a bad attitude."

I'm in Detroit, and if it's been that hot in New York, then we must be that runner's foreskin. I took a four and a half block walk from my office (air conditioned to the point of being able to write your name in the frost on the windows) to the local post office a couple of days ago around 2:00 in the afternoon. I didn't stop sweating and radiating heat until close to midnight.
My only comfort is that in about three months, the area will be up to my armpits in snow because here the four seasons are snow, snow, snow, and humidity that would make the Devil curse.
I can relate.
I'm in NC, Tracey, and here in three months we'll still be in the nutsack. Hell, we'll only be climbing out of the shorts a few weeks after that. Ah, summer...

Rub it in, Archivalist. Rub it in. I'll work up enough energy to be jealous just as soon as I dig myself out of another foot of snow.
