Elmo tells ME to do bad things too.
I found them all amusing up to that point, but the Elmo one genuinely freaked me out. He's already creepy enough, with his inability to use the first person singular, that adding that additional sinister twist is just enough to put him around the bend from quirky-cute to scary. The same could be said for cookie monster, now that they're having him clean up his act and broaden his diet. I for one am concerned about a hyperphagic monster with an impulse control disorder hanging around my kids when he's been given a mandate to increase his protein intake.
Hehe. The unwittingly evil taint of George Lucas. Hehehe.
